Tip 4 of 10: How To Wear Fashion Boots 2012

Posted By: Rosie Savage, 21 November 2012

December is right around the corner so although fashion is firmly on the brain, words like 'warmth', 'cosy' and 'layering' are starting to really matter too. How about wearing a pair of long boots with long dresses and maxi skirts this season? Harking back to 'boho chic' that was catapulted into stardom by the likes of Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and Nicole Richie back in the early noughties, the style reeks of the seventies.

Using those modern day icons as well as women like Janis Joplin, pair your boots with longer lengths and throw on heaps of fur, lace and jewels. The more the better. Contrasting heavy (your knee-high boots) with light (your flowing dress or skirt) creates a beautiful earthy look that is oh-so street style worthy too.

Mr Shoes has a great range of long boots to tempt you with, but here are our four favourites right now...

1. PIPPA Over The Knee Riding Boots: These boots have an amazing slouchy fit which is perfect if you want to give off those boho vibes.
2. SHINDIG Zip Knee High Western Boots: Rustic and with all the functions you'll need, these boots are a great option and also come in black.
3. TANSY Knee High Chelsea Boots: A pair of knee-high Chelsea boots - what could be better?
4. STARR Knee High Studded Western Boots: This final pair come adorned in metallic studs equalling boho chic with added rock 'n' roll.

Will you be layering up this season?
