Here at Mr-Shoes we are a huge fan of Birkenstock and will continue to be as long as Birkenstocks being made.

Birkenstock Sandals started way back in 1774! When Johann Adam Birkenstock registered as a shoemaker in a small Germany Village. They then went on fromthere as a family run business with each person add a little something to make the Birkenstock how we know them today.

In 1925 they started to export Birkenstocks out to Europe and 1964
Carl Birkenstock's son Karl uses his father's innovations to develop the first Birkenstock® sandal. Then 9 years on the Arizona, Birkenstock's classic two-strap sandal is introduced.

The Arizona is probably the most popular and well know Birkenstock sandal out on the market. With it high quality materials and unique construction which gives durable comfort and long lasting good looks. In 2003 the Arizona celebrated its 30th anniversary.

Birkenstock also did a series of training seminars in many European countries on the Birkenstock system as they are made to give the wearer better foot health and leading medical specialists support the Birkenstock system.

The Birkenstock has contours in the Birkenstock footbeds with is precisely placed to stretch, flex and move naturally to help your feet benefit from the free movement and constant exercise. Birkenstocks are also meant to help improve circulation which results in longer lasting comfort.
