Arriving in ol’ Blighty on Tuesday 17th April, we knew to expect some wacky yet wonderful ensembles from singer Nicki Minaj
before she left on Sunday. We weren’t wrong. And in the footwear department, her quirkiness certainly spiralled out of control.
Tuesday 17th
April
Chunky black and white fur-lined snow boots – in the setting of the Alps maybe they’re not so crazy but arriving at Heathrow airport? They’re probably just super comfy on a long-haul flight but teamed with her star-print leggings, printed tee and neon pink fur jacket, she certainly makes an impression on her first day here.
Thursday 19th
April
At her Pink Friday:
Roman Reloaded signing at HMV Bayswater, the 29 year-old singer wore an all-over pink concoction (shiny corset, fishnet skirt, swimming cap... the usual) with bright pink, sky-high, below-the-knee, shiny platform boots.
Friday 20th
April
We think there are some relatively normal heels hidden under there somewhere, but when leaving the W Hotel last week, Nicki looked like she was wearing neon green fluffy boots. As it turns out, they’re merely leg warmers.
Sunday 22nd
April
Decked out in yet another pink ensemble (we think she might like the colour), she wore some futuristic platform boots that wouldn’t look out of place in an action movie. On a robot. Fellow flyers must have thought Nicki was insane to endure an eight-hour flight in those bad boys.
