Let The Sun Shine

Posted By: Rosie Savage, 29 March 2015

Did you know that we sell sunglasses too? As well as having amazing shoes, it's fair to say that our accessories range is the bee's knees. New to our ranks this week are the following pairs, which are super stylish and full of summery goodness...

Our VINTAGE WAYFARER SUNGLASSES feature large, blocky lenses and come in a speckled dark brown and taupe effect. They'd suit a number of face shapes, especially long or heart. Alternatively, opt for the oh-so-cool 80'S STYLE AVIATOR MIRROR SUNGLASSES. This reflective pair calls for plenty of toughness to add to the look, such as a leather jacket or cold-shoulder boyfriend T-shirt.

We've also got the BLOGGERS CLUBMASTER SUNGLASSES, which feature half frames and a tortoiseshell finish - gorgeous. These are ideal for round- or oval-shaped faces. All of these pairs are currently just £3.99 in our 20% off sale, so it's a fab opportunity to grab yourself a few!

Which do you like the most?

Introducing... MARK

Posted By: Rosie Savage, 29 March 2015

Say hello to our just-in MARK LEATHER BROGUE CHELSEA BOOTS. They're a stunning pair of Chelsea boots with brogue detailing for a stylish twist... what's not to love? And we adore the distressed look given to the brown leather too; it creates a worn-in, rock 'n' roll aesthetic.

If these Chelsea boots have called to you but you're not sure how to wear them, you'll be pleased to know that the possibilities are endless. They'll add trendiness to an everyday suit or even one for special occasions, yet they also work a treat with casual attire. You can pair them with chinos, jeans (relaxed or skinny) and smart trousers easily.

And should you wish to bump up the stylish look, add in a trilby hat, swish sunglasses or a quirky waistcoat.

What do you make of our new MARK LEATHER BROGUE CHELSEA BOOTS? How would you style them?

Trending: Pineapples

Posted By: Rosie Savage, 22 March 2015

Pineapples are everywhere. Not the fruit itself, don't panic - we're not having some sort of epidemic. But pineapple motifs and prints are a big deal, especially in homeware. Think 3-D pineapple lamps, printed duvet sets, candles and framed pieces of artwork with the delicious fruit, to name a few.

So we thought it was about time we extended this to our shoedrobe with a pair of fun and fab pineapple print shoes. Say hello to the FLOSSY PRINT CANVAS SHOES. Aren't they great? As soon as the weather hots up, we plan on wearing them with skinny jeans and a floaty white swing top for instant summery goodness. Or a pair of short shorts on holiday for a quirky, preppy look.

What do you think of our brand new FLOSSY PRINT CANVAS SHOES and this year's pineapple obsession? How would you wear them this summer?

Be Inspired By Edie Campbell

Posted By: Rosie Savage, 22 March 2015

English model Edie Campbell attended the Junior Ocean Council Fashions for the Future Event on Thursday (19th March) in London and we absolutely loved her grey get-up. She wore a jumpsuit with a structured jacket over the top, which was then teamed with a little satchel bag and wonderful shoes.

Whether she was inspired by Cinderella's Prince Charming or not, that's certainly the vibe they give off. They were patent loafers with a shiny gold buckle and, teamed with the rolled-up trousers and on-show ankles, they looked positively wonderful. Get the look with our GOLD BUCKLE PATENT LOAFERS, which offer a very similar aesthetic.

Priced at just £19.99, you know you're getting a complete bargain. And, thanks to Edie, you know just how to style them too.

How do you rate Edie Campbell's look? And what do you think of our GOLD BUCKLE PATENT LOAFERS?

Seventies Sandals

Posted By: Rosie Savage, 15 March 2015

If you want a strong sandal look this summer, opt for our just-in CHLOE VINTAGE 70S STYLE WOVEN SANDALS. They have a wonderful seventies vibe to them and are available in white or tan. Plus, enjoy a plaited design at the front, a sturdy ankle strap and a chunky, tapered heel to add a touch of elegance. What's not to love?

They look especially amazing with similarly seventies-inspired pieces - think maxi dresses, duster jackets, floaty white numbers, tassels, bohemian prints, suede, and floppy hats. They don't have to be your everyday sandals - these can be your dressed-up option because, let's face it, they're blinkin' lovely.

If you want to wear them before the weather really hots up, pair them with rolled-up skinny jeans. Or you could even pair them with grey marl socks, ruched down roughly, for a super cool look that wows.

How would you wear our CHLOE VINTAGE 70S STYLE WOVEN SANDALS? And which colour would you choose?

Love Me, Buy Me

How cool are our new VICTORIA CELEB CUT OUT BOUTIQUE SHOES? A modern take on the mule, these cut-out heels are a must-have for your shoedrobe. They feature a sophisticated point towards the front, an ankle strap with buckled detailing, a small chunky heel and a cut-out working its way around the entire heel section. Plus, you can buy them in matte black or a black crocodile skin finish, both of which work wonders.

Wondering about how you can style them? Boots as cool as these need ultra modern clothes to match. We recommend a monochrome look - perhaps some black, high-waisted, skinny jeans with a black crop top and a white maxi cardigan. Or wear them with a white shirt dress and little else for a swish springtime aesthetic.

They'll also look fab with blue denim - more specifically, ripped blue denim. There will be no cooler combination.

Penn Badgley Works Winter Boots

Posted By: Rosie Savage, 08 March 2015

The amazing Penn Badgley took a stroll in New York on Wednesday (4th March) and was all bundled up against the cold. We absolutely love his winter look, which, teamed with his military boots, looked snug and stylish all at once.

When you're wearing that many layers, a pair of chunky boots is definitely the answer for finishing off the look, otherwise everything looks slightly out of proportion. So emulate Penn's look with our selection of winter boots. For a very similar style, we've got the ROBBIE MENS BROGUE MILITARY BOOTS. Alternatively, opt for the grey WRANGLER SHEARLING HIKING BOOTS or the tan MUSTANG SHEARLING MILITARY BOOTS if all-black isn't your thing.

Tasha 'Mazing

Say hello to our just-in TASHA CHUNKY T-BAR SANDALS - aren't they gorgeous? Available in matte white, patent black and patent burgundy, these T-bar sandals also feature a small cleated heel and gold buckle detailing. And the best thing? They're just begging to be worn now.

Pair them with ruched socks or tights and your standard winter-to-spring transition attire, and before you know it you'll be ditching the hosiery and sporting bare legs with these cute cut-out shoes. Though white frilly socks definitely wouldn't go amiss, especially if you're after a nostalgic, cutesy look.

Bloomin' Lovely!

Say hello to spring with beautiful floral shoes. There's no better way to do it, surely? We've got two pairs of humdingers to see you through this delightful season and beyond. So take a look for yourself and feel all kinds of gorgeous...

Our FLORAL HIGH HEEL COURTS are stunning. A traditional court shoe in style but with an all-over rich flowery print, these heels will certainly turn heads. Picture them with a white dress or black playsuit, and you'll be dying to call them your own.

Alternatively (or as well as... we won't judge) we've got the beautifully quirky and fun LIM CHUNKY FLORAL BROGUE SHOES. These brogues feature an almost tropical-style floral print, which is surrounded by gorgeous laser-cut detailing and zig zag edging. Add in the on-trend cleated sole, and you've got yourself a winner.

Will you be working floral shoes this spring?

Shoe Trend: Fringed Sandals

Posted By: Rosie Savage, 02 March 2015

March means summer, right? Well, not quite. But we can certainly start getting excited about warmer weather. And it wouldn't be totally absurd to start buying sandals and flip flops now, especially since the UK is known to have a heat wave in April. Fingers crossed.

We just had to share our brand new LILY FRINGE TASSEL GLADIATOR SANDAL, which comes in tan or black. Comfortable, summery and oh-so cool with the fringing and contrasting sole, these sandals were made for you if you've got a holiday looming. Wear them with all things light and breezy, and your summer wardrobe will be sorted.

Celebrities Rock The Barely There Look

Posted By: Rosie Savage, 20 February 2015

We've said it before and we'll say it again... the barely there high heel trend is for keeps. It's the shoe choice of the stars on the red carpet, and it's easy to work out why - they're flattering, elongating the legs and making you look drop dead gorgeous. Take a look at our top ensembles to come out over the past week...

At the Fifty Shades Of Grey premiere in Berlin on Wednesday (11th February) Jamie Dornan was joined by his wife Amelia Warner, who wore a coral Temperley London jumpsuit with contrasting blue heels and a clutch bag. We absolutely love this look - Amelia shows you how to work the look with pops of bright colours.

Erin O'Connor and Karlie Kloss both attended the amfAR Gala in New York on the same day - the former wore a stunning peach Lanvin dress with nude barely there heels, while the latter opted for black with a Mugler gown accompanied by heels with super thin straps.

To the Target and CFDA Accessories Showcase in New York last Tuesday (10th February), Harley Viera-Newton opted for a sweet dress and cardigan combo, which she teamed with matching black heels.

Check out our range of high heels here.

T-Bar Town

Posted By: Rosie Savage, 15 February 2015

Give a very warm welcome to our just-in MARY KATE VINTAGE STYLE T BAR MARY JANES. They're so cute it hurts, with their on-trend T-bar detailing, petal cut-outs at the front, and overall nostalgic Mary Jane style. Available in cream or black, either of these pairs are sure to add a gorgeous boost to your spring wardrobe.

How about wearing them with a flowing smock dress or Peter Pan collar number to increase their adorable factor? Or take a trip down memory lane and wear them with dungarees. If you'd rather toughen them up so your outfit isn't too girly, style them with mum jeans and an oversized, androgynous top.

Over-the-knee boots have played a big role in the fashion world over the autumn/winter season, and with the chilly weather set to stay for a little while longer, it's something you can try too. Look to Olivia Palermo and Karlie Kloss for inspiration who have both, over the past week, worked over-the-knee boots in their own special ways.

Olivia Palermo attended the Kingsman premiere in New York on Monday (9th February) wearing a leather pair, which she teamed with a fitted top, flared skirt and stunning cape coat - an entirely black outfit that worked wonders.

Opting for a slimmer silhouette, Karlie Kloss went to the Frame show at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday (11th February) in a pair of suede over-the-knee boots, combining them with a tan trench-style coat and a casual tied-back hair do.

We've got a delightful range of over-the-knee boots (see them here) so you can work the look too. All you need is a really good coat to pair with them.

Whose look do you rate more - Olivia's or Karlie's?
